Sylvester D. Johnson, Founder & Owner of Centrel Services LLC, has over 20 years of experience in underground utility and plumbing contracting in Central Florida. As a certified underground plumber and excavation contractor, Mr. Johnson is consistently ranked among Florida’s top professionals thanks to his unwavering commitment to quality and safety. Under his leadership, Centrel Services LLC has grown into a trusted full-service underground plumbing and construction business.

For Sylvester, this work is personal. He is a stickler for getting things built correctly and taking pride in the craft, and he saw an industry that needed real improvement. He set out to build something lasting, because his reputation is on the line and reputation matters deeply to him. If he is going to produce for his community, he wants to stand behind a company with integrity, something he can uphold, that improves septic, sewer, and wastewater systems and treats customers right.

That standard does not change from one job to the next. Whether the project is a downtown Orlando commercial property or a rural home in Osceola or Volusia County, the fundamentals stay the same. Soil conditions are what they are, and we follow Florida state code on every job regardless of location or population density. We are underground contractors who care about pipe leveling, location, orientation, and elevation, and we build to an as-built standard. When we install a lift station, the work meets FDOT and environmental health standards. We do far more than pump and dump. Committed to the Craft and the Customer

That commitment gets tested in the real world. During the birth of one of his children, Sylvester was called out to a mobile home park in Auburndale that was backing up into the street and creating a sanitary nuisance, more than an hour of driving just to reach it. Leaving family at such a vulnerable moment was extremely stressful, and a failing lift station made the situation urgent. Booking a pump truck and a crane at the last minute was not easy, but the crew got it done, replaced a burned pump, and pumped the entire park down. Stepping away from such an important family moment took real dedication to the work and to the customer, and we are grateful that everything worked out for the family and for the emergency call.
